Un hiver à New York (2019)
Clara arrive à New York avec ses deux fils sur le siège arrière de sa voiture. Ce voyage, qu’elle a déguisé en une aventure pour l’intérêt de ses enfants, s’avérera bientôt être une fuite d’un mari et d’un père abusifs. Clara essaie désespérément d'échapper à ses tentatives de la poursuivre. Quand la voiture est mise en fourrière, ils se retrouvent sans le sou dans la rue. Mais la grande ville froide fait preuve de miséricorde : dans leur recherche d'un refuge, la famille rencontre une infirmière désintéressée, Alice, qui leur fournit des lits dans un refuge d'urgence. Alors qu’elle volait de la nourriture dans un restaurant russe appelé Winter Palace, Clara rencontre un ex-détenu, Marc, à qui l’on a donné une chance de réisnertion dans le restaurant. Le Winter Palace devient rapidement un lieu de rencontre inattendue entre des personnes en crise que le destin a maintenant rassemblées.
