L'étreinte de l'araignée (2002)
Clay Harding (Baldwin) recrute la dirigeante Lauren Bishop (Wuhrer) dans un complot visant à voler 40 millions de dollars au père de Harding, Robert Harding (George Murdock). Le couple conçoit un complot pour voler les mots de passe de Robert et créer une société fictive imitant une entreprise que Robert souhaite acheter afin de détourner ses fonds vers un compte bancaire suisse. Clay prévoit secrètement de doubler Laura et de lui permettre de porter la responsabilité du vol, ce qu'elle réalise lorsqu'elle découvre qu'un collègue qui l'avait conçue pour être renvoyée de son travail, Harry Burnham (Benjamin King), était l'université de Clay. camarade de classe. Clay assassine Burnham et le fait ressembler à un suicide. Cependant, après une série de machinations des deux côtés, Lauren l'emporte finalement, laissant le pays avec accès à l'argent tandis que Clay se retrouve avec rien.
