Belle Williams, alias «Jingle Belle», est une compositrice de jingles publicitaires renommée à New York. Elle est surtout connue pour avoir composé le jingle des biscuits Farmland et la société, cherchant à moderniser son image, lui commande une nouvelle composition. Mais Belle est en manque d'inspiration. Tori, sa soeur, insiste pour qu'elle vienne aider le directeur artistique du spectacle de Noël de sa ville natale à composer un morceau original pour le cinquantième anniversaire du concert, mais Belle refuse.
