American Perfekt (1997)
Jack est psychiatre. En route pour l'Utah, il décide, le temps du voyage, de n'obéir qu'à ses pulsions. Il veut se tester : est-il capable de se laisser guider par le seul hasard? Est-il capable d'actes insensés? De faire du mal? De tuer quelqu'un? Sa route croise celle de Sandra, qui part au même moment rejoindre sa sœur Alice. Elles ont un long voyage à faire ensemble. Sandra est séduite par volonté de Jake de briser toutes les règles. Mais elle ignore que pour elle et sa sœur, l'horreur et la mort sont au bout du chemin...
