L'Autre Pandémie : La Résistance aux antibiotiques (2019)
Le XXIe siècle marquera-t-il la fin de l’ère des antibiotiques, ramenant la médecine deux cents ans en arrière ? Malgré leurs efforts, les États et l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS) restent impuissants à endiguer l’antibiorésistance. À la source de la médecine moderne, les antibiotiques ont offert jusqu’ici un moyen quasi miraculeux de lutter contre les bactéries infectieuses. Mais leur usage abusif, qui voit décliner inéluctablement leur efficacité, pose un problème de santé majeur.
