Christopher et Heinz (2011)
Écrivant ses mémoires en 1976 à Los Angeles, l’écrivain Christopher Isherwood se souvient de Berlin en 1931 où il partit rejoindre son ami le poète Wystan H. Auden. Ce voyage lui permet d’échapper à une mère rigide et de se laisser aller librement à ses amours pour les garçons dans les cabarets de la ville. Assis à la terrasse d'un café, l’écrivain tombe follement amoureux du jeune éboueur allemand Heinz Neddermeyer balayant le trottoir opposé. Cependant l’emprise des nazis sur le pays est de plus en plus grande. Christopher et Heinz finissent par rejoindre l’Angleterre. Mais Heinz doit retourner en Allemagne deux semaines plus tard : le bureau d’immagration a eu connaissance de leur relation…
