Dans l’univers éblouissant de la scène musicale de Los Angeles, voici l’histoire de Grace Davis une diva dont l’ego n’a d’égal que le talent. Maggie est l’assistante surbookée de Grace, courant sans arrêt de droite à gauche, sans pourtant désespérer d’atteindre son rêve d’enfance : devenir productrice de musique. Le manager de Grace va leur proposer un marché susceptible de modifier le cours de leurs carrières et pour lequel elles vont échafauder un plan qui pourrait bien changer leurs destins.
