Un an après la mystérieuse disparition d'une fillette de 8 ans, nous rencontrons sa famille en deuil alors qu'elle rentre chez elle après son service commémoratif dans leur petite ville. Plus tard dans la soirée, des lumières étranges apparaissent dans la foret voisine et la famille est exposée a un phénomène inexplicablement étrange qui les anime profondément. L'origine des lumières semble être des visiteurs d'un autre monde.
