La Loi de Goodnight (2011)
Aux États-Unis, au XIXe siècle. A Chicago, John Goodnight, avocat intègre connu pour ses penchants pour l'alcool et le jeu, vient d'être nommé juge du Wyoming, État sans foi ni loi. Sa mère adoptive et lui-même espèrent que cette affectation sera pour John l'occasion de retrouver les meurtriers de leurs familles respectives, tuées lors d'une attaque de diligence. John chevauche dans les contrées sauvages du Wyoming, dispensant la justice village après village. En route, il sauve la belle Kate, avec qui il poursuit sa mission. Les fantômes du passé ne sont pas loin, le hors-la-loi Dan Reed non plus...
