Le Déserteur (2002)
Un jeune idéaliste anglais, Simon Murray, décide de rejoindre la légion étrangère française contre le FLN. À son arrivée au camp d'entraînement, ses certitudes sont vite ébranlées au contact des autres recrues qui ont rejoint les rangs pour échapper à un passé beaucoup plus tumultueux que le sien. Confronté à la cruauté de la guerre et de ses co-légionnaires, il va se lier d'amitié avec le sergent Dupont et commencer à douter de l'utilité de cette guerre.
