Suite de six contes en théâtre d'ombre. Deux enfants curieux se retrouvent tous les soirs dans un cinéma désaffecté et, avec l'aide d'un vieux technicien, ils inventent et se déguisent puis vivent des histoires dont ils sont les héros: "la Princesse des diamants"; "le Garçon des figues"; "la Sorcière"; "le Manteau de la vieille dame"; "la Reine cruelle"; "Princes et princesses".
