Une famille déchirée par les secrets (2021)
Ashley Beck Ford, une jeune étudiante, mène une vie heureuse, entourée par ses deux mères adoptives et son petit ami, Ben. Malgré tout, le secret de ses origines la hante depuis toujours. Lorsqu’elle apprend qu’elle peut demander à connaître l’identité de sa mère biologique, elle engage toutes les démarches nécessaires pour reprendre contact avec elle. Les retrouvailles se passent à merveille et Ashley et sa mère, Sara, tissent immédiatement des liens très forts. Une ombre bien sombre vient s’ajouter au tableau lorsque le mari de Sara, Trevor, se fait assassiner dans leur propre maison. Tout semble l’accuser. Si au début, Ashley défend sa mère bec et ongles, elle découvre bientôt des éléments troubles sur son passé qui risquent d’ébranler ses convictions...
