Après trente années de service comme prêtre orthodoxe aux Etats-Unis, le Grec Tom Aramis, connu dans la communauté pour son grand charisme, décide, contre toute attente, de quitter ses fonctions. Un vieux journal vidéo intime est alors découvert. Lorsque sa fille Alethea décide de le filmer, des secrets sur son père sont révélés.
