The Caller (2011)
En phase de divorce, Mary déménage dans une nouvelle maison. Traumatisée par son futur ex-mari, un homme caractériel et violent, elle essaie tant bien que mal de tourner la page. Un soir, elle reçoit un coup de téléphone d’une inconnue sur l’ancien appareil qui traînait dans le salon avant son arrivée. Au bout du fil, Rose, une sympathique vieille dame avec laquelle elle développe une relation téléphonique amicale. Mais après quelques échanges, Mary se pose des questions sur la santé mentale de son interlocutrice, qui affirme l’appeler du passé. La donne change radicalement lorsque Rose commence de la harceler et la menacer…
