Chupa (2023)
À 13 ans, le timide Alex s'envole pour le Mexique depuis le Missouri afin de rencontrer sa famille pour la première fois : son grand-père Chava, ancien champion de lucha libre, son cousin Memo, une pile électrique fan de lutte, et sa cousine Luna, intrépide et branchée. Alors qu'il commence à s'intégrer, Alex découvre une créature mythique qui vit dans la remise de son grand-père : un bébé chupacabra qui lui rappelle les histoires effrayantes de l'un de ses congénères adultes s'attaquant aux bêtes des éleveurs. Alex apprend que son nouvel ami, Chupa, partage un secret avec sa famille et qu'un chercheur intraitable et dangereux, Richard Quinn, pourchasse la créature incomprise pour tenter d'exploiter ses pouvoirs. Afin de protéger Chupa, Alex se lance dans une grande aventure qui va mettre à l'épreuve les liens de sa famille et lui rappeler que les difficultés de la vie sont plus faciles à supporter à plusieurs.
