Louis van Beethoven (2020)
1779. Ludwig van Beethoven, huit ans, surnommé « Louis », est déjà connu comme un prodige de la musique. Il apprend à suivre sa propre voie, au grand désarroi de son entourage. Quelques années plus tard, il rencontre Mozart en période de bouleversements politiques. Le génie non conventionnel et la Révolution française allument un feu dans le cœur de Louis ; il ne veut pas servir un maître – seulement les arts. Face aux tragédies familiales et aux amours non partagés, il abandonne presque. Cependant, Louis se rend à Vienne pour étudier auprès de Haydn en 1792, et le reste appartient à l'histoire. Qui était cet homme dont la musique a depuis touché d’innombrables cœurs et esprits ? A la fin de sa vie, le maître se retrouve isolé par la perte des proches et de l'audition. Mais il était sûrement en avance sur son temps. - Téléfilm produit à l'occasion du 250e anniversaire de la naissance de Beethoven.
