La Dame et le Toréador (1951)
Dans l'espoir d'impressionner une belle señorita, un Américain en visite au Mexique s'entraîne avec un célèbre torero mexicain et devient lui-même torero de compétition. Chuck Regan, un touriste américain, assiste a Mexico à sa première corrida et tombe amoureux du spectacle. A l'issue de la manifestation, il se fait inviter a la table du toréro Manolo Estrada, le héros du jour. Au cours du repas, il sympathise avec Anita, fille d'un important éleveur de taureaux et fiancée à un toréro blessé. Ils concluent un marché : elle l'initiera à la tauromachie, tandis qu'en échange il lui donnera des cours de tir.
