L'aigle et le vautour (1933)
Une unité d'aviation américaine est transférée en France pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Jerry Young, l'un des pilotes expérimentés, est rapidement affecté par la perte de nombreux hommes au cours des missions de reconnaissance. Un pilote inexpérimenté, Henry Crocker, les rejoint. Les deux hommes, malgré leur animosité réciproque, font équipe et remplissent avec succès leurs missions. Mais, après qu'une bombe a explosé au bar des officiers et tué plusieurs nouveaux arrivants, Jerry montre des signes inquiétants de fatigue. Le major l'envoie en Angleterre se reposer et il y rencontre une belle jeune femme. Pendant ce temps, Henry fait équipe avec Mike...
