La Mémoire assassinée (1989)

Détective chevronné, Kellen O'Reilly passe beaucoup de temps à organiser une grève des policiers, mais par-ci par-là, des moments de dysmnésie durant lesquels il revoit un mystérieux professeur Satorius le troublent. Lors d'une réunion syndicale, il a une prise de bec avec Sarah, une avocate en droits civils qui poursuit Satorius. Elle accuse Satorius de combiner LSD et électrochocs afin d'induire des patients à tuer, patients dont il lessive ensuite le cerveau. O'Reilly s'introduit dans le laboratoire de Satorius et trouve dans un ordinateur une liste d'assassins, incluant Lee Harvey Oswald. Alors qu'il va confronter Satorius avec cette affaire, il est fait prisonnier. Le professeur et son aide lui font subir des électrochocs afin d'effacer de sa mémoire ce qu'il vient de découvrir...
