Perry Mason : Le Cercueil de verre (1991)
David Katz est un illusionniste de talent. Son tour de magie en effet comporte un numéro qui fait l'émerveillement du public qu'il appelle «Le cercueil de verre». David demande à Kate, sa fidèle assistante de monter dans le fameux cercueil, puis par un tour de passe passe, il la fait disparaître. Mais un soir, c'est le drame, non seulement Kate ne réapparaît à la fin du numéro, mais on la retrouve morte, assassinée ! La police ne tarde pas à découvrir qu'elle détenait un lourd secret, dont la révélation aurait anéanti la vie privée et professionnelle de Katz. Il est le coupable tout désigné. Trop facile pour Mason, qui décide de mener sa petite enquête...
