Shanghaï kid (2000)
Au XIXe siècle, le maladroit Chon Wang compte parmi les membres de l'illustre garde de l'empereur de Chine. Lorsque la princesse Pei Pei est enlevée dans la Cité interdite, Wang se sent responsable. Il insiste pour se joindre à l'élite chargée de retrouver la belle. Afin d'échapper aux poursuites, les ravisseurs ont traversé les mers et se sont installés en Amérique. La piste des malfrats conduit Wang et ses compagnons dans le Nevada. L'Ouest sauvage, dont la culture se démarque de celle de l'Extrême-Orient, déstabilise la troupe. Wang est séparé des autres et continue seul ses recherches. Jusqu'à ce qu'il trouve un partenaire de fortune, Roy O'Bannon...
