1965 ! Le rock'n'roll s'est répandu dans le monde comme une traînée de poudre... A Philadelphie, l'émission de télévision "Dance Party" fait un malheur. La fiévre de la dance a gagné la banlieu ou Del Green sèche ses examens au lycée pour assiter au show, espérant séduire ainsi la jolie Vicky. Son rêve : former avec elle le couple de l'année. Pour cela, il faut l'emporter sur le terrible Degan... Mais la passion du rock est plus forte que tout !!!
