11 septembre, au coeur du chaos (2021)
Il y a vingt ans, le 11 septembre 2001, des attentats d’une ampleur inédite frappent les États-Unis. Deux avions s’écrasent sur les tours du World Trade Center, en plein cœur de New York. Un autre appareil percute le Pentagone pendant qu’un quatrième s’écrase dans la campagne, après une lutte entre ses passagers et les terroristes qui en avaient pris le contrôle. L’effondrement des deux tours, vécu en direct par des millions de personnes, plonge le monde dans la stupeur. Vingt ans après, à l’aide d’archives visuelles et sonores, témoins des échanges entre équipages, pompiers et personnalités publiques ou anonymes, voici un récit de cette journée funeste.
