Une citadine prend la décision impulsive de s'envoler pour Tofino afin d'y passer l'été avec sa tante. Ne sachant pas nager, elle manque de se noyer lors d'une fête sur la plage et est sauvée par le maître-nageur qui habite à côté, et qui lui propose d'apprendre à nager.
