Durant la seconde vague de COVID à Rangoun, Ma, une femme qui vit seule, perd son travail d'assistante en cuisine dans un restaurant. Sur le chemin qui la ramène chez elle, elle revoit un jeune collègue qui ne la laisse pas insensible. Plus tard, dans sa chambre, elle se prépare en attendant sa visite.
