Que se passe-t-il après la mort? Pendant des années, Lila Ribi filme sa grand-mère centenaire, Greti, qui lui donne toujours la même réponse: après la mort, il n'y a rien. La cinéaste voit les choses différemment. Elle part en voyage, essaie de trouver d'autres perspectives avec la certitude que l'amour dans la vie survit à la mort.
