Le Marin qui abandonna la mer (1976)
Jonathan Osborne, un garçon de 13 ans rêveur et orphelin de père, vit avec sa mère Anne. Il fait l’expérience de la cruauté au sein d’un club secret dirigé par un jeune despote sadique qui se fait appeler « Le Chef ». Lorsque sa mère s’éprend de Jim Cameron, un officier de marine fraîchement débarqué des États-Unis, l’adolescent développe progressivement une forme de jalousie envers lui. Sous l’influence de ses camarades, Jonathan entend se venger d’après les valeurs du groupe.
