Dans une grande ville industrielle du Nord, Noé est un jeune gardien de phare qui a fait la fait la promesse de veiller sur les marins. Une nouvelle va venir bouleverser son quotidien millimétré et faire dériver ses habitudes paisibles vers un sentiment d’inutilité qui se rapproche petit à petit de la démence.
