Le Rêve de la sultane (2023)
En Inde, une jeune artiste flâneuse tombe au détour d'une librairie sur la nouvelle Le rêve de Sultana. Inès y découvre un monde fantasmé, enchanteur, où les rôles entre femmes et hommes sont inversés : les premières gouvernent et travaillent tandis que les seconds restent enfermés. L'ouvrage, manifeste féministe avant-gardiste écrit en 1905 par la princesse Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain, fascine Inès, qui ne cesse d'y revenir tandis qu'elle voyage entre l’Inde, l'Italie et l'Espagne, où elle converse avec le philosophe transgenre Paul B. Preciado et la professeure de littérature ancienne et personnalité féministe Mary Beard. En Inde, elle entreprend un pèlerinage sur les traces de l'écrivaine bengalie, avec une compagne rencontrée sur la route.
