Pour la vie d’Emily (2004)
Il y a dix ans, Cheryl a fui un mari violent, Kurt, pour protéger son bébé, la petite Emily. Depuis elle a épousé Gregory et tous trois forment une famille heureuse. Mais la tragédie les rattrape. Emily souffre de leucémie et seule une greffe de moelle épinière peut la sauver. Cheryl qui n'est pas un donneur compatible n'a d'autre choix que de contacter le père biologique d'Emily contre qui elle a témoigné après l'avoir quitté. Kurt, qui a purgé une peine de prison de 8 ans, doit de l'argent à des mafieux et accepte de donner sa moelle en contrepartie d'argent.
