Maximum Overdrive (1986)

En 1986, la comète Rhéa-M gravite autour de la Terre. Aussitôt, toutes les machines sur la surface du globe sont déréglées : un distributeur de billets insulte les clients, une enseigne lumineuse invite les passants à aller se faire voir… La situation devient tragique lorsqu'un pont mobile échappe à tout contrôle. Désormais, toutes les mécaniques sont autonomes et ne semblent poursuivre qu'un seul but : débarrasser la surface du globe de toute présence humaine…
