Biographie:

Ann Dvorak était une actrice américaine de théâtre et de cinéma, surtout connue pour ses rôles marquants dans le cinéma des années 1930. Fille d’acteurs du cinéma muet, elle débuta très jeune à l’écran avant d’interrompre sa carrière. À la fin des années 1920, elle revint au cinéma comme danseuse, puis fut repérée et formée par Howard Hughes. Elle connut un grand succès chez Warner Bros., notamment dans Scarface (1932), Une allumette pour trois et The Crowd Roars, s’imposant comme une actrice principale réputée pour son élégance et son intensité dramatique.
