Ellen Lee DeGeneres, née le 26 janvier 1958 à Metairie, Louisiane, est une comédienne, animatrice, productrice et actrice américaine. Après des débuts dans le stand-up dans les années 1980, elle gagne en notoriété avec sa sitcom Ellen (1994-1998), devenant l’une des premières personnalités télévisées à faire son coming-out en 1997. Elle anime The Ellen DeGeneres Show (2003-2022), un talk-show à succès récompensé par de multiples Emmy Awards. Dans le cinéma, elle est surtout connue pour avoir prêté sa voix à Dory dans Le Monde de Nemo (2003) et Le Monde de Dory (2016) de Pixar. Productrice exécutive de plusieurs émissions, elle est aussi une figure philanthropique, soutenant des causes comme les droits LGBTQ+ et la protection animale. Mariée à Portia de Rossi depuis 2008, elle vit à Los Angeles.
