Bert Lytell est un acteur américain surtout connu pour sa carrière au cinéma muet, où il apparaît dans près de 50 films entre 1917 et 1927. Il tourne ensuite peu de films parlants avant de se retirer du grand écran. Il poursuit alors une carrière au théâtre, notamment à Broadway, et fait quelques apparitions à la télévision. Il travaille aussi comme réalisateur, producteur et scénariste. Il possède une étoile sur le Hollywood Walk of Fame.
