Matt Stone né en 1971 est un scénariste réalisateur acteur et producteur américain. Il est surtout connu pour avoir co-créé la série animée South Park avec Trey Parker avec qui il collabore sur l'écriture la réalisation et le doublage de plusieurs personnages. Son travail est marqué par une satire sociale percutante et un humour irrévérencieux. Il est également co-créateur de la comédie musicale The Book of Mormon et a participé à la production de plusieurs films et projets télévisés.
