Suzanne Pleshette (31 janvier 1937 - 19 janvier 2008) était une actrice américaine, de théâtre, de cinéma et de télévision. Après avoir débuté sa carrière au théâtre, elle commence à apparaître dans des films au début des années 1960, tels que Rome Adventure (1962) et Les Oiseaux d'Alfred Hitchcock (1963). Elle est ensuite apparue dans diverses productions télévisées, souvent dans des rôles d'invitée, et a joué le rôle d'Emily Hartley dans The Bob Newhart Show de 1972 à 1978, recevant des nominations aux Emmy Awards pour son travail. Elle a continué à jouer jusqu'en 2004 et est décédée d'une insuffisance respiratoire suite à un cancer du poumon en 2008.
