David Jude Heyworth Law (né le 29 décembre 1972), connu professionnellement sous le nom de Jude Law, est un acteur, producteur et réalisateur anglais. Il a commencé à jouer avec le Théâtre national de musique pour la jeunesse en 1987, et a eu son premier rôle à la télévision en 1989. Après avoir joué dans des films réalisés par Andrew Niccol, Clint Eastwood et David Cronenberg, il a été nominé pour l'Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor en 1999 pour sa performance dans The Talented M. Ripley d'Anthony Minghella. En 2000, il a remporté le prix du meilleur acteur de soutien BAFTA pour son travail dans le film. En 2003, il a été nominé pour l'Oscar du meilleur acteur pour sa performance dans un autre film de Minghella, Cold Mountain. En 2006, il était l'une des dix stars de cinéma les plus bancables d'Hollywood. En 2007, il a reçu un César d'honneur et a été nommé Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres par le gouvernement français. En avril 2011, il a été annoncé qu'il serait membre du jury principal du Festival de Cannes 2011.
