Nightmare 2 - La rivincita (1985)
Un autobus scolastico con ragazzi a bordo non rispetta le fermate e prende a tutta velocità la strada del deserto, verso il nulla. Quando si ferma, il terreno comincia a cedere tutt’intorno e l’autobus rimane in equilibrio su due esili spuntoni di roccia. E al volante c’è Freddy Krueger. Jesse, uno dei ragazzi nell’autobus, si risveglia sudato: è stato un incubo. All’allenamento di baseball, però, Grady gli dice che la casa dove è andato a vivere in Elm Street è la stessa in cui si sono verificati strani fatti di sangue (quelli del film precedente). Jesse non ci bada, ma quando si alza di notte vede Freddy Krueger alimentare con qualcosa la caldaia nello scantinato. Anche questo è un incubo, ma le cose cominciano a mettersi male. Mentre disfa gli scatoloni del trasloco nella sua camera, aiutato da Lisa, Jesse trova il diario di Nancy, da cui viene a sapere di Freddy Krueger e coglie subito le terribili similarità con quanto sta vivendo.
