Dopo centinaia di anni passati a svolgere il compito per cui era stato costruito, WALL-E, un robot progettato per ripulire la Terra, scopre un nuovo scopo nella vita quando incontra un elegante robot esploratore di nome EVE. EVE si rende conto che WALL-E ha inavvertitamente scoperto la chiave per il futuro del pianeta e corre nello spazio per riferire agli umani. Nel frattempo, WALL-E insegue EVE attraverso la galassia, dando inizio a una delle avventure più fantasiose mai portate sul grande schermo.
