La tragedia del Titanic (1943)
Questo film tedesco poco conosciuto racconta la vera storia del transatlantico britannico che ha incontrato un tragico destino. Ernst Fritz Fürbringer interpreta il presidente della White Star Line, che incautamente ha spinto il capitano del Titanic (Otto Wernicke) a fare la traversata più rapida possibile verso New York. È interessante notare che il regista Herbert Selpin è stato arrestato dalla Gestapo durante la produzione di questo film e la censura tedesca ha vietato il film per le sue scene di panico e terrore.
