Giurato numero 2 (2024)
Justin Kemp, giovane uomo con un passato alcolico e un futuro da papà - la moglie aspetta la loro bambina -, è convocato come giurato in un sordido caso di omicidio alle porte di Savannah, in Georgia. La vittima, Kendall Carter, è stata presumibilmente picchiata a morte e abbandonata in un fosso dopo una violenta discussione col suo ragazzo, membro pentito di una gang di quartiere. Il colpevole ideale per i dodici giurati e per il procuratore della contea in piena campagna elettorale. Faith Killebrew espone i fatti e la vertigine sale. Justin, giurato numero 2, realizza progressivamente la propria colpevolezza nella tragedia avvenuta un anno prima, nel cuore della notte, sulla stessa strada dove si era convinto di aver investito un cervo. Sotto una pioggia battente di ricordi, il marito perfetto si scopre omicida involontario e si ritrova difronte a un dilemma morale: confessare, scagionando l'imputato, o sottrarsi alla giustizia, condannando un innocente?
