Una donna che ha scontato alcuni anni di carcere per un crimine che non ha commesso, torna dopo 25 anni nella sua città natale per ottenere la propria riabilitazione, scavando in un passato che per molti era sepolto. Le persone che erano coinvolte insieme a lei hanno però tutte proseguito con successo la loro vita e non sono affatto d'accordo sul tirare fuori i loro scheletri dall'armadio.
