The Woman in the Yard (2025)
Ramona (Danielle Deadwyler) è una donna che cerca di rimettere insieme i pezzi della sua vita dopo un incidente stradale che le ha portato via il marito (Russell Hornsby). Rimasta gravemente ferita, Ramona deve prendersi cura dei suoi due figli, un adolescente di 14 anni (Peyton Jackson) e una bambina di 6 anni (Estella Kahiha), nella loro casa di campagna. La routine della famiglia viene interrotta dall’arrivo di una donna misteriosa, completamente vestita di nero, che appare inspiegabilmente nel loro giardino e pronuncia un enigmatico avvertimento: “Oggi è il giorno.” Ramona, inizialmente convinta che la donna (Okwui Okpokwasili) sia solo una persona in difficoltà, scoprirà presto che le sue intenzioni sono tutt’altro che innocue.
