Dopo un drammatico incidente aereo, l’ufficiale delle Forze Speciali James Belmont (Brad Pitt) si ritrova disperso nelle terre più remote e inospitali dell’Alaska. Al suo fianco c’è solo Odino, il fedele cane militare con cui ha condiviso missioni estreme e situazioni al limite. Circondati da una natura selvaggia e spietata, tra freddo estremo, predatori e ostacoli imprevedibili, James e Odin dovranno affidarsi l’uno all’altro per sopravvivere.
