Rogue (2007)
Pete (Michael Vartan) è un cinico giornalista di viaggi americano che si è recato in Australia per un reportage sul boom turistico dei Territori del Nord. Nel corso di una crociera fluviale, si ritrova circondato da personaggi bizzarri ed interessanti, tra i quali c’è Kate (Radha Mitchell), la bella guida della spedizione. Tra Pete e Kate scatta immediatamente la scintilla dell’attrazione, ma i due non fanno in tempo a godere dei frutti di questo reciproco interesse: avvistato un razzo di segnalazione, il tour deve deviare dalla sua rotta abituale per prestare soccorso all’imbarcazione in difficoltà. La barca urta però qualcosa sottacqua e si procura una falla, costringendo Kate a radunare tutto il suo gruppo su di un’isoletta nel mezzo del fiume. Lì scopriranno a loro spese cosa ha spinto l’altra imbarcazione a lanciare un segnale di soccorso: un gigantesco coccodrillo affamato di carne umana…
