In viaggio per il college. Melanie Porter, ambiziosa e sicura di sé, sta cercando di compiere il primo passo verso l’indipendenza: un viaggio con altre ragazze per visitare i diversi college universitari. Ma c’è un colpo di scena in questo rito di passaggio, quando il padre iperprotettivo di Melanie decide invece di accompagnarla.
