The Mangler - La macchina infernale (1995)
In una lugubre lavanderia industriale del Maine, descritta come un inferno operaio dell'Ottocento sebbene l'azione sia situata ai giorni nostri, c'è una gigantesca stiratrice che inghiotte un'anziana operaia, riducendola in poltiglia. L'inchiesta scopre che il mangano è un totem demoniaco che reclama periodicamente un tributo di sangue per la continuazione e la trasmissione del potere capitalistico.
