Cro Magnon - Odissea nella preistoria (1986)
Femminismo all'epoca in cui Cro-Magnon e Neandhertal, a detta della sceneggiatura, vivevano fianco a fianco. Dopo un disastroso terremoto, la piccola Ayla, perduta la madre, viene raccolta e adottata da Iza, "donna della medicina"di una famiglia di uomini delle caverne che va in cerca di una nuova terra in cui stabilirsi. Crescendo, la ragazza apprende le regole della sopravvivenza e dà segni di un'intelligenza precoce e superiore che se da un lato conferma l'intuizione di Iza che ella è predestinata dagli spiriti a guidare la tribù, dall'altra le aliena le simpatie di Broud, il cacciatore, che aspira un giorno a diventare capo.
