Nata per vincere (2004)
Terry Fletcher è una ragazzina di provincia che sogna di diventare una cantante. Per realizzare il suo sogno, il passo obbligato da compiere è riuscire a superare le selezioni per il Bristol Hillman Conservatory di Los Angeles, il corso di musica più prestigioso che si tiene durante l'estate. Terry riuscirà a superare le selezioni grazie anche all'aiuto del fratello Paul, ma lungo la sua strada dovrà superare numerosi ostacoli tra cui l'opposizione totale del padre, un lutto familiare che la segnerà profondamente, il rapporto con i suoi insegnanti e con i suoi coetanei, il blocco creativo che sopraggiunge tutte le volte che si trova a esibirsi di fronte al pubblico.
