I fragili equilibri di una giovane coppia (lui la tradisce con la disinibita cognata) vengono compromessi dall'arrivo di un giovane, compagno di scuola del marito, la cui unica passione sembra quella di registrare in video le scabrose confidenze delle donne che incontra. La moglie dell'altro si innamorerà di lui. Palma d’Oro alla 42ª edizione del Festival di Cannes, nel 1989.
